Updating SHAZAM for Windows
Patch programs are available for Version 10 and Version 9. The patch programs will work with both the SHAZAM Standard Edition and SHAZAM Professional Edition. This should correct the problems created by Microsoft Windows Updates released by Microsoft.
As a general rule, a backup of the SHAZAM directory should be made before doing any updates.

How to update SHAZAM Version 10 for Windows

SHAZAM Professional Users should download the update to obtain new features discussed in the Version 10 Manual.

Latest Version 10 Revision date: JULY 2004

Do not update unless your SHAZAM Version 10 is older than the above revision date.

Use SHAZUP10.EXE to patch your current version 10.

The SHAZUP10.EXE program can be downloaded and used to update Version 10. If your web browser will not download EXE files then try the zipped version SHAZUP10.ZIP

How to update SHAZAM Version 9 for Windows

Users with a SHAZAM Version 9 license can obtain an updated Version 9 SHAZAM.
Version 9 users will not be able to download Version 10. This can be ordered with the SHAZAM Order Form.

Final Version 9 Revision date: DEC 2003

Do not update unless your SHAZAM Version 9 is older than the above revision date.

Use SHAZUPW.EXE to patch your current version 9.

The SHAZUPW.EXE program can be downloaded and used to update Version 9. If your web browser will not download EXE files then try the zipped version SHAZUPW.ZIP

Examples and online documentation to accompany SHAZAM can be downloaded for installation on the user's computer.
